Not every answer can be found at home
Some lessons may hurt you but they’ll also help you grow
Wanting to find your place, your time will soon come
When your eyes will open and rest upon the sun
An as such, at times, rain will arrive
Don’t be discouraged, for water too will help you thrive
With good things the bad is also expected
It’s a balance often ignored and never truly accepted
Ignorance being bliss is as weak as you can get
Because if you know what’s to come you can limit your regrets
Like the seed, you’ll find your way up and like a tree, you’ll take a firm stance
For where there is life there’s always a chance
I’ve decided that in 2018 I’m going to look into recording some of my writings and posting it on SoundCloud. That’s a huge step for me because that’s out of my comfort zone but why not?
I will, however, be reserving that for just exclusive content that I’ve never posted on this blog. I cannot thank all of you enough who have chosen to follow this blog and take the time to “like” my posts, it really means a lot. On that note, I hope you guys will enjoy the new path that my words are going to be taking.
Lots of love and appreciation,
I would like to take this time to wish all of my followers an amazing holiday season filled with lots of joy and laughter. Thank you all for the support you’ve shown this blog, I appreciate every one of you so much. May your days get better and your dreams come through. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Poetic Spoken Words! xx

My New Year Poem Can Be Found — Here
If you’re constantly brought back to a place does it mean you haven’t truly forgiven someone?
If its brought to you in dreams in parables, does that count?
Multiple people in the form of one person,
Using the face of somone that weren’t even involved
I like to think that you’ve forgiven someone when you no longer feel like you hate them
So why the reacurring thoughts?
Did you not heal?
Did you not forgive?
Maybe you’re over reacting and it was only just a dream
Maybe there’s more to it and all isn’t what it seem
I remember those low times
Those alone times
Those silent cries
I remember wanting to be good enough
Wanting those hugs tight enough
Protection well enough
I remember wanting to be apart of things
Normal childhood things
The nice things you see in films
I remember what was stolen from me
The pressure that was put on me
The start of events that ruined me
I remember the help I didn’t get
To calm the thoughts that made me upset
Dealing with it by myself
I remember blaming myself through it all
Putting up a major wall
Wanting to end it all
